We are proud to have featured in many popular television and film productions. Here is a selection of some of them.

Casualty

Selected by the BBC to provide the location for the fictional railway stations of Lightbourne and Suttonhurst for the prestigious series, Wirksworth station was dressed to represent a modern station painted in a contemporary colour scheme and equipped with 'real-time' monitors.

Mobile

ITV1 used modern 'Gatwick Express' InterCity set to represent a modern express service from London to Liverpool. Filming required a combination of internal scenes within a carriage and external shooting involving a large quantity of extras, vehicles and a helicopter.

The Game

Selected by the BBC to provide the location for a drama set during the Cold War, our period coaches were the perfect backdrop.

Five Days II

A five part drama which aired on five consecutive days and featured one of our railcars. Our team dedicated the whole line to the filming for a week.

Oranges & Sunshine

A 2010 feature film based on a true story of moving poor children to Australia and Canada.
