Gatwick Express InterCity

Our six-carriage 'Gatwick Express' InterCity trainset has featured in several productions. Representing modern passenger rolling stock, the vehicles featured (ex-British Railways Mk.2 vehicles) are still employed in front-line service on the national network.

The Gatwick Express is powered by an ex-British Railways 'Class 31' locomotive, examples of which are still employed on the main line. The train is in modern livery, representative of InterCity services.

The train offers first and standard class accomodation; some carriages having tables and others without. The train is air conditioned and has flourescent lighting. Modular seating allows the layout to be reconfigured and partition walls and dividers to be inserted by the set-dressing team.

The train's livery is well-suited to rebranding using vinyl transfers.
